Hello!
I figured an introduction would be a good start to this “professional artist” journey that I’m committing to.
I’m a Washington-based illustrator. My preferred mediums are watercolor and vector software.
I graduated in the class of 2020 from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art with a Concentration in Mixed Media. Thanks to said oxymoronic concentration, I have experience in 2D Animation, Filmmaking and editing, Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Analogue Photography, and Woodshop.
I have four furbabies: Rosie and Clover (puppies), and Cider and Bumble (kitties). They take up a significant chunk of my camera roll.
Inspirations include (in no particular order) Sir Quentin Blake, A. A. Milne, Hayao Miyazaki, Yinka Shonibare, Claude Monet, Vante, Bernadette Banner, Katie O’Neil, Rick Riordan, Tasha Tudor, Catherin Opie, Claude Cahun, Robert Kondo, Anastassia Zamaraeva, Chris Hong, and Marija Tiurina among many others.
….so yeah….art and pets covers the majority of my personality….
